Terms of service

Last updated 10 September 2026

These terms govern your use of TravelSyncro and any booking you make through us. They are written to be read, not to be survived.

What we are

We are a travel agency. When you book here, your contract for the room is with TravelSyncro, and we in turn contract with the hotel or its distributor. We are not the hotel, and we do not own, operate, or control any property listed on this site.

This matters when something goes wrong on the ground. A hotel that overbooks, closes its pool, or renovates the floor above you has not breached these terms — but we will help you resolve it, and where the booking itself was misdescribed, that is ours to fix.

Prices, and what they include

The total we show you is the total. It includes taxes and any mandatory fee the property collects at the desk, because the entire reason this site exists is that those figures are usually left out until checkout. If a price on this site excludes something you will be asked to pay, that is a bug, and we want to hear about it.

Prices move. The figure in search results is what was true when the search ran; the figure you are charged is confirmed with the supplier at the moment you check out. If it has changed in between, we will tell you the difference in dollars and ask you to accept it before your card is charged. We will never quietly charge you a different number than the one you agreed to.

Payment

Your card is authorised when you submit the booking and charged only once the hotel confirms the room. If the hotel declines, the authorisation is released and you are not charged. Card details are collected by Stripe and never reach our servers.

Changes and cancellations

Each rate carries its own cancellation terms, shown before you book and repeated on your confirmation. Non-refundable rates are genuinely non-refundable — that is why they cost less. See our cancellation policy for how to cancel and what happens when you do.

Your responsibilities

Give us accurate names. Hotels match the name on the booking to the ID presented at check-in, and a mismatch can mean a refused room with no refund. Check your dates before confirming. Make sure you can legally travel — passports, visas, and entry requirements are yours to arrange.

When things go wrong

If we make a mistake — the wrong room, the wrong dates, a price we misdescribed — tell us and we will fix it or refund you. Where a booking cannot be honoured through our error, we will rebook you at equivalent standard or refund you in full, at your choice.

We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control: weather, strikes, closures, or a supplier failing. Our liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid us for it.

Contact

Reach us by replying to any confirmation email, quoting your booking reference. Registered business details, seller-of-travel registration numbers, and a support address are published here before launch.

These terms need a lawyer before launch

This is a drafting starting point, not legal advice. Selling travel in the United States engages seller-of-travel registration, bonding or trust-account requirements, and consumer protection rules that differ by state. Have a travel-industry attorney review and complete every one of these documents before taking a single booking.
